This report provides the results of an evaluation of the Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) program. Through the evaluation, the authors identify the elements of teacher practice and goals, GLOBE partner support, and local assistance (community, district and school) that facilitate integration of GLOBE into the local curriculum, support student science inquiry and learning, and ensure continued use of the GLOBE in schools. As part of this research, they are also testing a model of curriculum integration for science inquiry programs, drawing upon GLOBE practitioners' own experience, prior GLOBE evaluation findings, and research on other science reform initiatives.
