Presented by the USGS South Florida Information Access (SOFIA), this website provides photos and a tour through Southern Florida ecosystems. The ecosystems include coral reefs, dunes, fresh-water marsh, fresh-water swamp, hardwood hammock, mangroves, pinelands, salt marsh, and scrub. Each ecosystem has a brief description, a photo, and a list of factors determining which ecosystem will develop in a given area.
