USGS Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center (FRESC)
This multi-disciplinary research center provides scientific understanding and the technology needed to support sound management and conservation of our nation's natural resources, with emphasis on western ecosystems. Program areas include wildlife, fisheries and aquatic resources, ecosystems, exotic species, endangered and at-risk species, contaminants, and biological information management and delivery. This site provides a flora and fauna fact list, project fact sheets and summaries, and links to additional information.
