This site is a service of NASA's Laboratory for High Energy Astrophysics. It offers sections on basic astrophysics such as space particles and magnetic fields, cosmic rays and supernova remnants, the sun and solar flares, space weather, and the history of cosmic ray studies. There is information on satellites and spacecraft such as the Transition Region and Coronal Explorer (TRACE), the Advanced Satellite for Cosmology and Astrophysics (ASCA), the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE), and the Imager for Magnetopause to Aurora Global Exploration (IMAGE). Each of the subjects has links to classroom activities and news articles.
