OPML version 2.0

The Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) Program Center developed an XML schema-based version of the Dave Winer draft OPML 2.0 specification:

• opml.xsd - an overarching schema that defines the root element (opml) and wraps the remaining base OPML 2.0 elements and attributes in a namespace (http://www.dlese.org/Metadata/opml)
• contents.xsd - defines the base OPML 2.0 elements and attributes without a namespace or root element
• sample.xml - a sample instance document

Developers wishing to use this OPML 2.0 schema-based version can either develop their overarching schema that calls contents.xsd or use both of the schemas above. See the individual schemas for further documentation.
