In the area "The Red Planet" go to the Find the Features" link. Set the option for altitude for both Earth and Mars (lower left part of screen), then exaggerate the stretch of the vertical component (lover right part of the screen). Then ask students to compare how the surface relief of the two planets are similar and different. There are very interesting things to be observed when the scale is modified.
