Comments and Teaching Tips given for Global Climate Animations Comment on this resource

I have not yet had the opportunity to apply this in the classroom. I am currently writing a resource that uses this site as a reference. In my opinion these animations are an excellent tool for showing students the spatial associations that exist. It will stimulate higher order thinking and a deeper understanding will be gained in minimal time.

A tip for the designer of this survey: I used bits and pieces of your site. There is no place on this survey for users like me. Having viewed some of your site, not all, I cannot thoughtfully address some of your questions. The portion I did use was outstanding, however the teacher would have to know what they were looking for. Quite a few middle school level teachers are not well educated concerning global energy balances and would be overwhelmed with the content and therefore shun this site.

If we understand the planet, we can manage the world. Nice resource, thanks to those inspired enough to put the effort forth. Best regards, RAG

The resources at this site are just animations, which is exactly what I was looking for to use in my geography and geology classes. Clear, conscise animation about aspects of global climate.

This was a really usefull site for me to gather overview information to introduce a new topic to a scientific community. Credible data very well presented. Thank you!
