Other educational standards:
This resource supports Virginia Earth science standards. ES.2 - The student will demonstrate scientific reasoning and logic by analysis in how science explains and predicts the interactions and dynamics of complex Earth Systems. ES.3 - The student will investigate and understand how to read and interpret maps, globes, models, charts, and imagery. ES.4 - The student will investigate and understand the characteristics of the Earth and the solar systems. ES.13 - The student will investigate and understand that energy transfer between the sun and the Earth and its atmosphere drives weather and climate on Earth.

This resource supports math standards for grades 6-12 in the topics of data analysis and probability. These assignments are based on the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards.
