This resource, produced by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Astrogeology Research Program, provides instructional guides, activities, and information about the planets, moons, and other objects in the solar system. Materials include a virtual trip to the Moon, coloring and activity pages, fact sheets on the planets and their moons, and an activity in which younger students make a globe of a planet or moon by using a tennis ball. There are also links to images, maps, and other sites with related information.
