PRISM is a cross-disciplinary scientific model that creates a collaborative forum where scientists, students, decision makers and community members can share Puget Sound area earth science data, information and knowledge. It supports the integration of earth science and education science, suggesting that future earth science discovery will be based on the hypothesis and analysis skills acquired with data, visualization, and prototype based geoscience education. This site links to information on both the scientific and academic components of PRISM. It lists previous and proposed courses and provides access to images, Power Point presentations and animations of Puget Sound area research.
