U.S. Geological Survey: Earthquake Hazards Program
This site offers access to information on worldwide earthquake activity, earthquake science, and earthquake hazard reduction. Materials presented here include maps and information on recent activity in the United States or worldwide, news and highlights, and a link where users can report ground motion from an earthquake. For teachers, there is a set of quick links to photos, a slideshow, and USGS maps, publications, and other products. A searchable database is also provided for teachers to help find background information, activities, and lessons about earthquakes.
