This 5-part video series includes an overview of the Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) program through which K-12 students from all over the world take environmental measurements at their schools and share their data via the Internet. NASA scientists use GLOBE data in their research and provide feedback to the students. GLOBE observations and measurements are in the following study areas: atmosphere/climate, hydrology, land cover/biology, soils and phenology. The product also includes GLOBE protocol videos that provide a refresher of correct procedures for atmosphere, hydrology, soil, and land cover measurements.
