Virtual Vacationland is a resource to help elementary and secondary teachers find and use Earth science data and information on the Internet. The content is arranged by science topic. Each topic has a preview page that summarizes the material, as well as 2 to 5 detail pages, which show where to access online data and what the data mean. Over 40 hands-on activities are available at the site on the following science topics: Land Topography; Ocean Bathymetry; Coastal Tides; Ocean Buoy Data; Ocean Temperature; Weather and Climate; and Watersheds and Rivers.
