The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Center was founded in 2004 by Triebold Paleontology Incorporated. All of the specimens contained in the exhibits are on loan from Triebold. The Center holds over 30 life sized specimens, primarily skeletons, and houses Triebold's. Triebold provides services for museums and individuals including paleontological exploration, data collection, excavation, preparation, restoration, skeletal mounting, mold making and casting. Specimens and replica casts collected, prepared, and restored by Triebold are exhibited worldwide. Triebold Paleontology works with academic paleontologists to ensure the preservation of fossil specimens from North America. The Center has educational programming and tours for groups, and there is extensive online information on various dinosaurs on exhibit at the Center.
