The Alaska Museum of Natural History is dedicated to the study and exhibition of Alaska?s natural history and to promoting and developing educational programs which benefit students and enrich the curricula of schools and universities. The Museum focuses on Alaska's unique geological, cultural, and ecological history. In addition to Make Your Own Volcano, the website offers extensive links, resources and educational modules including Kids Activity Sheets, Dinosaurs of Alaska, the Broken Mammoth Archeological Site, and Dinosaur Tracks, which explores the information that can be gleaned from the study of footprints.
