Time and Cycles: Dendrochronology
In this activity, students will use pre-marked paper strips to simulate tree ring core samples to investigate past climate conditions. They will understand that climate information can be gathered from sources beyond long-term weather observations, and learn to recognize the impact of climate on annual tree growth patterns.
