Visitors can access a variety of information on global warming, emissions and impacts of greenhouse gases, and what is being done to evaluate and remedy the effects of a changing climate. Interactive calculators are available online for assistance with estimating greenhouse gas emissions of specific activities and evaluating emission reduction opportunities. A searchable database by topic, information type, school level, classroom subject, and target audience helps teachers can access materials for use in presentations and classroom activities, and kids have their own section, which outlines basic concepts and provides games and animations depicting climate change. Material is also available for private citizens, public officials, owners of business and industry, and others who have an interest in the effects of climate change.
