Peacecorps World Wise Schools - Water in Africa DLESE Reviewed Collection
This collection of educational resources is intended to call attention to the issues of locating and preserving healthy water supplies and fighting the spread of water-borne diseases for communities in Africa. Teachers can choose from a number of lesson plans for downloading, which are arranged alphabetically by title, by grade level, or by subject. These lesson plans cover such topics as design of village water supplies, the climatic contrast between dry and rainy seasons, agricultural practices, sanitation, the stress on natural resources as water supplies are consumed, and others.
