Arctic Contaminants
This site provides information on a project undertaken by the Alaska Native Science Commission (ANSC), the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) and the University of Alaska Anchorage to document traditional knowledge of environmental contaminants and environmental changes, especially as it relates to contamination in subsistence foods. Topics include project goals, processes, and community outreach efforts. There is also a link to additional information on transboundary Arctic contaminant sources and pathways.
