Space Weather: A Teacher's Guide
This collection of lesson plans and activities on space weather includes material on features of the sun, sun-Earth interactions, magnetism and magnetic fields, coronal mass ejections (CMEs), auroras, and many other topics. Each lesson plan includes a summary, a list of prior knowledge and skills, correlations to math and science standards, preparation and in-class time, and a list of materials. There is also a set of links to a series of teacher resources, related material from other sites, as well as a glossary and tables of AAAS Benchmarks, NSES Science Standards, and NCTM mathematics standards.
