Materials include information about microorganisms, extremophiles, and extreme habitats. There is also information about the Microbial Observatories (MO), research projects to study extremophiles and their environments in Antartica, Yellowstone National Park, and other locations. Links are provided to online resources for teachers and students, general topics and specific case studies, and educational resources (exercises, activities and workshops).
