Abrupt Climate Change
This clearinghouse provides links to information about abrupt climate change, a phenomenon which recent evidence indicates is not unusual. Users can choose from a variety of links that lead to reports, presentations, media releases, and a frequently asked questions (FAQ) feature. Other sections contain links to newspaper articles on the subject, explanations of how climate works, orbital influences on climate, the oceans' role in climate, and human impacts on climate. Another set of links provides access to information on abrupt climate change, its potential impacts on society, monitoring efforts, climate glossaries, and other organizations that study this issue.
