Tracking the Course of Evolution: Creating a Curriculum in Evolution
This outline of the author's major goals in creating a curriculum based on evolution explains how to incorporate them. The goals are: Evolution is the central unifying theory of biology, evolution is integrally related to other sciences, and about half of science is neither experimental nor quantitative. Dr. Padian provides a sequence of events to demonstrate how the idea of evolution itself evolved.
