In this internet activity, students study the effects of Peabody Coal on Black Mesa in Arizona. These effects include both those to the land and those to the Dine'h people who reside there. Students visit the first website which provides background on the topic. Then they choose three of the remaining sites to use for study. Once this research is completed, they write a brief paper presenting their position on what they've learned.
