Disability accommodation in science education is addressed through topics such as strategies, learning environments, and technologies that will be useful for science teachers of students with disabilities or disorders. The site specifically addresses behavioral, intellectual, communicative, and attention deficit disorders. The site also gives detailed information for teachers of students with hearing, learning, motor/orthopedic, or visual disabilities. Tips cover general courtesy, teacher presentation, laboratories, reading, group interaction and discussion, research, field experiences, and testing. Some 800 teaching strategies are presented within this site. Parent and teacher resources on and guides to creating Individualized Educational Plans (IEP's) are also offered, as well as links to related sources.
