Millennium
Observatory
(NeMO)
is
a
seafloor
observatory
off
the
coast
of
Oregon,
which
studies
the
relationships
between
submarine
volcanic
events
and
the
chemistry
and
distribution
of
hydrothermal
vents
and
the
biologic
communities
that
depend
on
them.
