Tool support to create required metadata

Features and constraints

  • Only a single resource can be annotated per annotation record
  • Only a single annotation is allowed per record. Multiple annotations for the same resource need to use multiple records
  • Helps manage pathways to the DLESE Reviewed Collection (DRC)
  • Can indicate a status for the annotation (complete, in progress)
  • Allows for annotation to be either the actual text or a URL to the annotation or an overall rating of the resource
  • Indicates format of the annotation (text, graphical, audio)
  • Must annotate resources using the resource's id (catalog) number; URLs are not allowed.
  • Captures the person or organization making the annotation
  • Can indicate a format of the annotation (text, audio, graphical, video)
  • Can rate a resource
